Pumpkin party recipes

Before Halloween, we had a small gathering for a pumpkin party. Pumpkin eats, pumpkin decorations, even a pumpkin drink. Scot was the mastermind behind the menu; my contribution was a bag of mallow cream pumpkins, and making one of the recipes he had chosen.

Most were wary; but the recipes all received raves! Many have asked for recipes, so here they are:

Chipotle Bacon Pumpkin Deviled Eggs (from peanutbutterandpappers.com)

I made one change to the recipe. I used all of the egg yolks. They were incredible.

Savory Pumpkin Dip (from gimmesomeoven.com)

We sent a care package home with Aron to Val who wasn't able to join us as she was working. Her review of it was that it was so good, she wanted to get nekkid and roll in it. Now that's good.

We served the punch in our black-enamel canner as it looks quite cauldron-like. Toss in a brick of dry ice picked up from the grocery and it was quite spooky.
