We spied this over the weekend while cruising around. It was so odd we had to take a closer look. It was, all in all, not a bad job. Just... bizarre. And the half a VW bus beside it? There's a story and a plan to that one, I'm sure.
I'm just about to burst with the possible maiden voyage of our own little canned ham renovation. It's not a restoration, rather a custom rebirth with a little original funk but also a fair amount of retained 1960's charm. I spent today cursing over my rusty sewing skills as I made the gusseted cushion covers for the seating area. No photos will be posted until she's out in the wild, so to speak. I can't wait.
One cushion down, two to go. I better get back at it.
That's weird. I wonder why they cut that other one in half the long way. It reminds me a bit of that 57 Chevy that someone put in a tree along hwy 22 in Polk county. In my travels through Yamhill county I discovered a Mystery Machine(like the one on Scooby Doo) parked in someone's side yard. I'll have to post the picture of that someday.
