Rains chains are one of the visual improvements we've made to our urban funkification project. The gutter on the back porch was in a mess anyway, so we replaced it and terminated each end in rain chains. At the end of the chain of copper flowers is a pot filled with the same Mexican pebble we lined the porch with (it had lava rock; a bit mistake with running dogs, it's way too light and flies everywhere).It's beautiful when it rains.
