Job forecast looking up?

In the past week, I've noticed a number of "help wanted" signs and "now hiring" signs. Some may be for seasonal work, such as at Office Depot (back to school is around the corner). Wachovia's banner is out again, and I've noticed more postings online, too.

That's a totally un-scientific perception, but from NONE to some is indisputably an increase.

Pair that with this interesting forecast from the Bend Bulletin and it seems a good thing. (Notice the report basically says no more artists or lawyers, thankyouverymuch.)
