Val and I have joint ownership over a food dehydrator we picked up at Bi-Mart. She wants to try jerky, I want to try herbs and we both are interested in fruits. My small window box of herbs was needing a bit of a haircut so I am doing a first small batch of things just to see how it goes. Chives, parsley, oregano and cilantro.My hands smell lovely.
This American Life podcast playing; the dogs lying beside me on the couch; what little outdoor light there is streaming in onto me on the couch. Piddling with this and that. Ahhhh, Saturday.
